Secretary General of the Shura Council, Chancellor Osama Ahmed Al Asfoor, has affirmed that the support accorded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Bahraini women has given them a chance to realize their ambitions in building the kingdom’s modern history. He added that the well-recognised contributions of Bahraini women in various fields have made them a model to emulate throughout the world.
 
Chancellor Al Asfoor congratulated Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on the International Women’s Day 2021. He commended her tireless endeavors to protect women’s rights and dignity and further engage them in the development process.
 
The Shura Council Secretary General voiced the kingdom’s pride in Bahraini women’s achievements and their ability to take up leading posts in various areas. He also praised their remarkable contribution to the kingdom’s growth and prosperity.​
