Shura Members Hail Tamkeen and the Tenders Council

Shura Council members today hailed the efforts being exerted by the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) and its numerous achievements concerning the amelioration of the local workforce's working conditions and its promising programmes and projects aiming to open up new employment horizons for the unemployed Bahrainis by rehabilitating them and provide with job opportunities that suit their qualifications.

Shura members also praised the key role played by Bahrain Council for Tenders in preserving the public funds and promoting transparency concepts, which increased the investors' trust in the kingdom's economy and upgraded its investment position regionally worldwide.

This would not have been possible without the far-sightedness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his pioneering reform project, the special efforts of the government led by His Royal Highness Premier Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Economic Development Board Chairman.

The members also thanked State Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Sadiq Al Baharna, who is in charge of the Labour Fund and Bahrain Council for Tenders Chairman, and appreciated his visit to the Shura.

On the occasion, the members vowed their full support for both Tamkeen and the Bahrain Council for Tenders. Dr. Al Baharna explained that both Tamkeen and Tenders Council are basic economic stimulants through the current partnership between the government and the private sector.
