Shura Council condemns Houthi militia's firing of two missiles at Riyadh, Jazan

The Shura Council has strongly condemned Iran-backed Houthi militias’s firing of two ballistic missiles at Riyadh and Jazan, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a statement, the council denounced the dangerous escalation which confirms persistence of the Houthi coup militias to shake security and stability in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the whole region regardless of the hard circumstances undergone by the world in combating coronavirus.

The council strongly condemned the cowardly hostile act at this sensitive time which requires concerted efforts to face the outbreak of coronavirus. It also underscored full support to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures taken to protect its security, borders, stability as well as regional and international security.
