At the beginning of the meeting the Bureau extended good wishes to the wise leadership and the people of Bahrain on the occasion of the national action charter, which formed a leading step towards modernization and development in all fields, praising the numerous national achievements and calling on safeguarding and protecting them.
The Bureau of the Council reviewed the incoming letters and discussed statistical statements regarding draft laws that are still under study by the Council committees, and those waiting to be included on the agendas of the forthcoming meetings of the Council, as well as subjects deferred from the previous session, stressing the importance to end these draft laws.
Before the end of the meeting, the Bureau of the Council approved the draft agenda of the 16th meeting scheduled for Monday 11th February 2013, which will include the report of the financial and economic affairs committee regarding Bahrain chamber of commerce and Industry, the report of the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee concerning amending some provisions of the rules of Judiciary law, the report of the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee concerning amending some provisions of the bye-laws of the Council of Representatives, the report of the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee concerning amending some provisions of the bye-laws of the Shura Council, in addition to continuing the discussion regarding the report of the public utilities and the environment committee concerning a draft law dredging of sea sand and selling it, and the report of the women and child affairs committee regarding protecting family from violence.
