The bureau of the Council held a meeting this morning, under the chairmanship of H.E. Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, in the presence of the First and the Second deputies of the Chairman, respectively, hon. Jamal Moh’d Fakhro and Hon. Dr. Bahiya Jawad Al-Jishi, heads of standing committees, Secretary-General, and the legal advisor of the Council.

The Bureau extended good wishes to His Majesty, HRH the Prime Minister, HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and 1st Deputy Premier and to the Arab nationals, the world and the Bahraini peoples on the occasion of the New Year 2014.

The Bureau then review topics listed on agenda, where a bill proposal was reviewed concerning amending some provisions of the law on organization of pension salaries and remunerations for BDF officers and members and public security personnel, where the bureau decided to refer it to the concerned committee for further study.

The Bureau reviewed the list of pending draft laws and bill proposals which are still under study at the Council’s committees, and the subjects ready to be included in the agenda of the next session, one of which is the supplementary report of the woman and child affairs committee regarding a draft law, protecting family from violence.
