Meeting No (14), January 23rd, 2012 – Second Convening Period – Third Legislative Term
The Bureau of the Shura Council decided in its meeting which was held this noon under the Chairmanship of H.E. Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, to include in the agenda of the next session the report of the Woman and Child Affairs Committee concerning a draft law organizing the work of the kindergartens (prepared in light of the bill proposals submitted by the Council of Representatives).
The Bureau also decided to include the report of the Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Economy Committee in the agenda of the next session concerning a draft law adding new article to the penal code issued via a decree by law no.15 for 1976, (prepared in light of the bill proposals submitted by the Council of Representatives).
Following the discussion on the agenda of the next meeting, the Bureau decided to include in the next meeting agenda two reports of the Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Economy and Legislative and Legal Affairs Committees concerning issuance of reform and rehabilitation institutions law, the organization of penal constitutions and amending some provisions of the law of evidence in civil and commercial articles.
The Bureau of the Shura Council Also decided to take final opinion in the next session regarding a bill to ratify the Convention between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Government of the Czech Republic on the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of financial evasion of income taxes, associated with the Royal Decree No. (87) for 2011, and a draft law to ratify the Convention between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Government of the Republic of Sri Lanka concerning avoidance of Double taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion in respect of taxes on income, associated with the Royal Decree No. (89) for 2011, in addition to taking the final opinion on draft law regarding ratification of the Convention between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Government of Georgia on the avoidance double taxation and prevent fiscal evasion in respect of taxes on income and capital.
