Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh hailed Bahrain’s educational developments spanning a century, paying homage to the early pioneers who contributed to the achievements.
He paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, hailing royal care for the educational system, with the support of the Government chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa,the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Al Saleh saluted generations of teachers and administrative staff, who spared no effort and contributed with utmost dedication to Bahrain’s educational strides and hard-won achievements.
The Shura Council Chairman made the statements as he patronised a ceremony to launch teacher Ameena Said Al-Saleh’s book on her teaching career, in the presence of officials and educational figures.
Addressing the launch ceremony, he commended the author’s efforts to document Bahrain’s educational history, describing her as a model of ambitious Bahraini woman.
