Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh praised cohesion between the Bahraini people and the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa which consolidated Bahrain’s pioneering status in all preemptive measures to combat coronavirus (COVID-19). He commended the royal directives, stressing the kingdom’s capability to overcome the current exceptional challenges and continue the development march.
This came at a meeting today with HM the King during which he extended congratulations to HM the King, HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince on the holy month of Ramadan. He wished the Kingdom of Bahrain many happy returns, praying to Allah Almighty to end the pandemic. Her pointed out the kingdom’s success in handling coronavirus outbreak, describing it as the dividend of HM the King’s clear vision in dealing with exceptional circumstances and challenges and turning them into opportunities for building and progress.
The Shura Council Chairman praised the tremendous efforts of the government, spearheaded by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, to combat COVID-19 and curb its spread. He also lauded keenness on catering to citizens’ needs, commending support and direct follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. He praised HRH the Crown Prince’s distinguished leadership of Bahrain Taskforce to Combat Coronavirus, describing it as an impetus to achieve more success in handling the challenge professionally.
The Shura Council Chairman praised social awareness and the national response to campaigns and initiatives to support the efforts in fighting COVID-19. He commended the patriotic spirit of the Bahraini people and their participation in “Feena Khair” (There is Goodness in Us) campaign which was launched by Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Nationla Security Advisor, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and Board of Trustees Chairman of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The Shura Council Chairman hailed the initiatives carried out by many non-government organizations, stressing solidarity as a characteristic feature of the Bahraini society. He underscored the Shura Council’s unflinching support to the government’s efforts and keenness on boosting cooperation with the executive branch to further promote the kingdom’s status. He wished Bahrain constant security, stability and prosperity under the leadership of HM the King.
