Shura Council chairman praises HM King’s support to Bahraini youth

Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh praised the royal care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to youth competences which represent the cornerstone of national development and progress.


“Royal support to youth competences has expanded national potential and contributed to spearheading Bahrain’s development, progress and prosperity”, he said in a statement marking Bahrain Youth Day, annually observed on March 25.


He noted the importance of the King Hamad Award for Youth Empowerment to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals in supporting and celebrating youth achievements, highlighting their capabilities, competencies and high potentials in various fields.


He hailed the programmes and initiatives implemented by the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to empower and support youth efforts as part of Team Bahrain.


He commended the efforts made by HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and National Security Advisor HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and SCYS First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority (GSA) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.


He noted the role played by youth and sports centers and clubs in tapping in youth talents, praising the programs, activities and events taking place in the Kingdom of Bahrain throughout the year, which are dedicated to youth and youth, and contribute to refining their skills and experience in various fields.
