Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh sent cables of congratulations to Pakistani Senate Chairman Mohammed Sadiq Sanjrani and the National Assembly of Pakistan Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, on the National Day of Pakistan.
The Shura chairman praised the deeply-rooted Bahraini-Pakistani ties and expressed keenness on strengthening parliamentary ties to unify visions towards topics of common interest.
Al Saleh wished them good health and happiness, and the people of Pakistan further progress and prosperity.
He sent a similar cable to the Pakistan Ambassador to Bahrain, Muhammad Ayub.
