His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's directives for mothers employed in the public sector to work from home have been praised by Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh as tremendous support for Bahraini women and great appreciation of their steady contributions in various fields.
"The royal directives confirm the role of women in ensuring the stability of the families and society, especially during the current exceptional circumstances and the precautionary and preventive measures that include the temporary suspension of studies in public and private schools and kindergartens," he said.
"His Majesty is the leading supporter of Bahraini women and he is keen on their progress to continue their dedication and commitment in the service of Bahrain."
The royal directives confirm HM the King's humanitarian approach and provide more reassurance and relief to all the measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain under the leadership of HM the King, to establish family stability and protect Bahraini society from multiple threats, he added.
"The Council has set an organizational plan to activate HM the King's directives in a manner that enhances appreciation of working mothers in the General Secretariat of the Shura Council and enables them to care for their family and children during these exceptional times while at the same time they perform the tasks assigned to them," he said.
