Shura Chairman hails summit to deepen strategic partnerships

The Bahrain-Egypt-Jordan summit in Sharm El Sheikh Emphasizes the importance of deepening strategic partnerships and enhancing constructive cooperation and continuous coordination to support joint Arab action, Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh said.


HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HM King Abdullah II of Jordan and Egypt's President Abdelfatteh El Sissi met  in the Red Sea city to discuss ways to achieve common interests and boost joint Arab action to deal with regional and international challenges.


Al Saleh expressed pride in HM the King's strong support to cooperation among Arab countries and praised the special bonds between the three countries.


The Chairman lauded the special attention accorded by the three leaders to discussing pan-Arab issues and matters as well as the latest regional and international developments.


He stressed the importance of continuing the efforts to reinforce Arab security and consolidate initiatives to combat terrorism and achieve security and stability for the peoples of the region.
