Shura Council Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh said that the tripartite summit which was held today in Abu Dhabi, the UAE, suppors initiatives aimed to achieve regional peace and stability and meet people’s aspirations for security and stability.
The trilateral meeting was attended by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, HM King Abdulla II ibn Al-Hussein of Jordan and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and UAE Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
He commended the goals of the summit, which yielded directives to bolster GCC and Arab strategic ties and consolidate cooperation so as to build a brighter future and harness efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges and create opportunities.
He praised HM the King’s relentless efforts to achieve peace and open wider horizons with neighbouring countries, and adopt honourable stances and initiatives towards issues of common concern with brotherly and friendly states.
He lauded the tripartite summit which reiterated the leaders’ unwavering stance towards the Palestinian issue which represents a regiona and international priority to achieve and comprehensive peace on the basis of the two-state formula conducive to the establishment of of an independence Palestinian state withi in the June 4, 1967 boders, with Al-Quds as its capital.
The Shura Council Chairman hailed strong historic and fraternal relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates and Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, commending their efforts to consolidate security, stability, prosperity and peace.
