Shura Council president hails Bahraini doctors

Shura Council President Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh paid tribute to Bahraini doctors for their dedicated efforts to serve the national under all circumstances and challenges.
He hailed the care provided to the medical personnel in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, lauding the doctors humanitarian devotion and continued national sacrifices to treat patients and protect citizens and residents’ health and safety.
He paid tribute to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, who approved, whilst chairing the weekly Cabinet session, the Bahraini Doctor’s Day on the first Wednesday of the month of November.
He also praised the launch of an award, bearing the name of HRH the Premier, to recognizing outstanding Bahraini doctors in the therapeutic and medical research fields.
He commended the sacrifices and dedicated efforts of doctors and health personnel, who stand on the front-line to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and protect citizens and residents’ health and safety.
Al-Saleh said that the Shura Council would always support the medical sector by passing and updating laws and legislations that keep abreast of health strides in Bahrain.
The Shura Council chief extended congratulations also to Bahrain Medical Society Chairperson Dr. Ghada Al-Qassim, hailing doctors who honour their country in regional and international arenas.
