Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh congratulated Ibrahim Bouderbala on his election as speaker of Tunisia's parliament.
 
The chairman hailed the newly-appointed Speaker for his competence and efforts in contributing to the country's development process.
 
Al Saleh affirmed the legislative branch's keenness to strengthen parliamentary relations with Tunisia and enhance ties between the two countries.
 
He wished the new Speaker success in his duties to achieve further progress and prosperity for Tunisia.
