While government services, especially social ones, were affected in other countries because of the ongoing economic situation, Bahrain is doing its utmost to improve their quality, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said.
He voiced the stance as he received, in the presence of Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs head Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Shura Council Chairman H.E. Ali Saleh Al Saleh, Parliament Chairman H.E. Khalifa Al Dhahrani along with Senior Officials at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.
He said this region is a vital part of the world and its current situation has global effects, given its strategic importance.
HRH the Premier said Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s initiative to move from the co-operation stage into a union one will usher in a new phase of GCC action to optimise common achievements.
The initiative will lay the foundation for the region’s stability and enhance its capabilities to face challenges collectively, he added.
