Manama Shura Council Chairman His Excellency Ali Saleh Al Saleh sent a congratulatory cable to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for being chosen as the Humanitarian Personality of the Year with absolute majority of votes in a recent poll conducted by the Kuwaiti daily Al Sharq. Tens of thousands of personalities from the GCC and Arab world participated.

H.E. Al Saleh extended sincere congratulations to the King for the title given to him as a mark of honour for the landmark political, economic and social policies spearheaded by him in order to upgrade the living standards of the Bahraini citizens.

He also said that the title is a recognition to the King's unlimited humanitarian and philanthropic contributions inside and outside the Kingdom.

H.E. Al Saleh also wished King Hamad continuous good health and happiness.
