Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh sent a cable of condolences to French Senate President Gerard Larcher and National Assembly president Claude Bartolone on the victims of the heinous terror attack with a truck that ploughed into a crowd of people in the city of Nice, France during the Bastille Day celebrations and which left dozens of people dead and injured.

The Shura Council Chairman strongly condemned the terror act which contravenes all religions and humanitarian values, stressing full support to France in fighting all forms of terrorism. He wished the injured a speedy recovery, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest the souls of the victims in eternal peace and provide their families with patience and fortitude. He also wished France constant peace and security.
