A Shura Coouncil member hailed the keynote speech which was delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa befor the 75th session of the UN General Assembly last Thursday.
Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee Chairman Dr. Abdulaziz Abdulla Al-Ajman said that the royal address reflected Bahrain’s national fundamentals and approach in dealing with regional and international issues, stemming from HM the King’s vision to achieve international security and stability.
Dr. Al-Ajman said that HM the King’s keynote speech represented a roadmap for dealing with global political, economic and health developments and challenges which require international concerted efforts to build a brighter and more prosperous future and withstand COVID-19 fallout.
He commended the royal address which raised key issues. Particularly the need to end the Palestinian-Isreali conflict on the basis of the two-state solution and usher in a new phase in relations based on good neighbourliness. He also praised HM the King’s stance, voicing Bahrain’s solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under all circumstances and challenges.
Shura Council Member Darwish Al-Mannai said that the speech had outlined the strategic fundamentals which guide Bahrain’s foreign policy and roe in strengthening international relations and consolidate the principles of peace and stability.
He underlined HM the King’s support to Arab and Islamic issues and praise of the roles played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Egypt.
