Shura Council's Financial and Economic Affairs Committee has hailed the outcomes of the successful visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Head of the committee Khalid Al-Maskati praised HRH Crown Prince's keenness on promoting economic initiatives and extending bridges of communication with GCC countries to reinforce the joint GCC market and boost trade exchange.

He added that during the visit, the activation of the single border-crossing point system was also declared, which will provide a major solution for the King Fahad Causeway traffic congestion issue and bolster trade between the two kingdoms.
