Quality Assurance in the General Secretariat of the Shura Council reflects the quality system procedures stipulated in ISO 9001 system and represents the planning and documentation of all the Secretariat activities that affect quality, in addition to the quality standards emanating from the interested parties needs and expectations.
Range:
- Description of the quality management system in the General Secretariat of the Shura Council.
- Circulating and publishing the quality policy, vision and mission of the General Secretariat of the Shura Council.
- Ensuring the continuity of the quality management system with all its requirements during changing circumstances.
- Provide the necessary documents for the audit of the quality system in the General Secretariat of the Shura Council.
- Provide the required information to the General Secretariat interested parties of the Shura Council and the structure of the quality management system followed.
- Provide a basis to ensure continuity of service development.
- Provide a basis to ensure continuity of the compatibility of the standards of services provided in the General Secretariat of the Shura Council.

Principles of the General Secretariat of the Shura Council:
The General Secretariat of the Shura Council was established by Royal Decree No. (10) for the year 1992 regarding the rules of procedure for the functioning of the Shura Council under Article (22) to form the General Secretariat of the Council, and its main objectives are:
- Develop the use of information technology in support of the work of the Shura Council.
- Elevation of service standards offered by the General Secretariat.
- Enhancing governance in the work of the General Secretariat of the Council.
- Develop organizational structure, internal processes, systems and regulations.
- Enhancing the level of employees of the General Secretariat of the Shura Council.
- Outsourcing the provision of technical support services that may be provided from outside the Secretariat of the Council.
- Establishment of the Parliamentary Information Bank.
- Promoting parliamentary culture in society and strengthening parliamentary media.
