Youth Affairs Committee

In accordance with Article (21) of Decree Law No (55) of year 2002 on the internal regulation of the Shura Council and its amendments, the Council decided in the meeting (21) held on 12/3/2012 of the second regular session of the third legislative term to establish the Youth Affairs Committee which consists of a number not exceeding seven members.
Youth Affairs Committee

Committee Duties
The committee shall be competent to consider the following topics:
- Consider and review the compatibility the legislations in force relating to the youth sector.
- Consider all the draft laws and proposed laws referred to the committee and all the topics related to youth and submit their reports to the Council.
- Provide opinion to the other competent committees in relation to youth affairs.
