Shura Council condemns the brutal Israeli attacks on the Temple Mount, strongly refusing annexation of Islamic sanctities to the centers of Jewish Heritage

The Shura Council expressed at its weekly meeting today chaired by the Chairman of the Council, H.E. Ali Bin Saleh Al Saleh, strong denunciation - as it closely follows the happenings and developments taking place in the Palestinian territories - the acts carried out by Israeli forces of invading the holy Temple Mount yesterday (Sunday), which constitutes a serious escalation and an insult to Arab policy and law, and escaping from the obligations to which they must adhere to resume the peace process.

This comes after Israel issuance of the annexation of the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron and the vicinity of Bilal Ben Rabah mosque in the town of Bethlehem in the West Bank to the so-called "Jewish heritage sites", which constitutes a flagrant infringement on sacred Arab and Islamic nation sanctuaries, and a flagrant violation of the ancient history of Islamic civilization, and thus reveals the true face of continuing Israeli plans to judaize the Islamic sanctities.

The Shura Council condemned in a statement issued in this regard the persistence of the Zionist entity in the harm it inflicts and the successive crimes against the Palestinian people and Islamic sanctities, and the continued provocation to the feelings of Arabs and Muslims.

And called on governments and parliaments of all Arab and Muslim countries, the Organization of Islamic Conference and the League of Arab States to take an Arab-Islamic firm and united position against these serious crimes, in defense of our Islamic holy sites of the prolonged brutal rape, stressing at the same time that this criminal behavior practiced by the Zionist enemy, creates many obstacles to the efforts to achieve peace in the region, even more largely ignored and deliberated,.

And therefore the Shura Council calls on international community to deal with this resolution, it also appeals to the UN Security Council and UNESCO to take immediate and deterrent legal action against the Zionist entity, which its actions pose a threat to the security and stability in the region.
