The Shura Council has unveiled a competition as part of festivities marking the 18th anniversary of the National Action Charter
“The contest was launched on Istagram (@shurabahrain in a bid to engage the community and foster the values of demorcary and patriotic belonging”, Said Shura Council Secretary-General Osama Ahmed Al-Asfoor.
He paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa who initiated the National Action Charter which was endorsed by the people of Bahrain by a sweeping majority of the votes”, he said.
He urged the public wishing to take part in the competition to vist the Shura Council portal and get update about details and regulations of the contest.
The competition consists of best photo, best film, best design and best animation. The Shura Council General Secretariat has allocated BD400 for the winners.
