Shura Council's Secretary General praises media interaction with Shura Council's activities and functions

The Shura Council's General Secretary, H.E. Mr. Abdul-Jaleel Ibrahim Al-Taraif, praised representatives of the Kingdom of Bahrain's Radio, TV and newspapers in covering various activities and functions of the Shura Council and expressed his utmost appreciation for their great efforts in documentation and analyses, pointing out that the media receives recognition and appreciation from the Shura Council's Chairman, H.E. Mr. Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, for their faithful efforts in press and media coverage of the Council's sessions, activities, accomplishments and programs in various domains.

The Secretary General, on the occasion of the end of the third session of the third legislative term, praised the huge role undertaken by Bahraini newspapers in showcasing national gains accomplished during the blessed reign of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the honorable Government led by HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister with support and assistance from HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, pointing out that the Bahraini press enjoys unprecedented ceiling of freedom and constructivism, which genuinely serves national issues and achieve citizens aspirations.

His Excellency Mr. Abdul-Jaleel Al-Taraif looked forward to further constructive cooperation between the Shura Council's General Secretariat and all the various mass media: newspapers, Radio and TV in order to portray the huge efforts being exerted by members of the Shura Council in terms of enactment of regulations and laws which contribute for the sake of the best interest of the Homeland and the needs of Bahraini citizens.
