The Head of the parliament delegation Dr. Salah Ali, currently in Brussels, praised the positive response during the meetings with officials at the European parliament in regard to  uncovering the facts about unrest which hit Bahrain recently.

Bahrain's parliamentary delegation continued their tour to European countries and institutions to reveal the truth about what happened in Bahrain during recent unrest.

The delegation, led by Shura Council's Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security Committee's Chairman Dr. Salah Ali, met at Bahrain's embassy in Brussels, Belgium, with Amnesty International Director, Mr. Philippe Hinsmans, and Campaign Manager for Amnesty International, Mr. John Polty.

The delegation outline the reality of the crisis which gripped Bahrain recently, stressing that Bahrain will remain committed to reform and democracy and protection of freedom and human rights, as well as its landmark achievements since His Majesty King Hamad initiated his pioneering reforms, ushering in development achievements and modernization strides.

The Parliamentary Delegation also met with the director of operations at doctors without borders (Medicines sans frontiers) and the EU representative at the organization and brief them on acts of sabotage inflicted upon Bahrain's health and educational establishments as well as the misuse by some doctors and nurses of Bahrain's largest hospital - Salmaniya medical complex, thus flouting the code of medical ethics.
