The Secretary-General of the Shura Council hon. Abdul Jalil Ibrahim Al-Tareef, emphasized the importance of cooperation with authorities that support and reinforce the foundations of democracy and utilize areas of modern technology in order to serve the goals of legislative authority, pointing out that the Chairman of the Shura Council His Excellency Ali Bin Saleh Al Saleh, always give directives for supporting all steps aimed at boosting the efficiency of members of the Shura Council, and the staff of the Secretariat. During his meeting with the Executive Director of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD) Dr. Issa Al-Khayyat, The Secretary-General of the Shura Council, highlighted the important role played by BIPD in the development and building of capabilities in the legislative field, through the use of a number of expertise and specialists in this regard, stressing that the Secretariat of the Shura Council firmly believe that the cooperation with BIPD, through organization of training sessions and workshops, will contribute to enhancing the skills of the staff of the Secretariat.
