The Secretary-General of the Shura Council Hon. Mr. Abdul Jalil Ebrahim Al-Tareef, stressed the commitment of all staff to the Council's policy of rationalization of expenditure, preventing waste and reducing administrative costs and control.

Pointing out that, under the guidance of the Chairman of the Shura Council H.E. Ali Bin Saleh Al Saleh, the Secretariat has adopted work plan and strategy to rationalize expenditure which is aimed at achieving projects that of high quality and lowest possible cost.

The Hon. Secretary-General affirmed, during chairing a meeting of the executive management of the Shura Council, which was held this morning, the Council is operating in accordance with the allocated budget, to achieve the objectives and desired results, with a commitment to reduce budgetary costs, according to the strategy adopted in this regard.

The meeting also discussed a number of matters relating to organizational and administrative aspects, in addition to some of the suggestions to develop the work in various departments and sections of the Secretariat of the Council.
