The Shura Council has valued highly the fruitful results of the recent official visit carried out by Pakistan’s Senate Chairman, Sadiq Sanjrani, to Bahrain at the invitation of Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh.
In a statement, the Shura Council praised the success of the Pakistani official’s visit and high-level meetings held during it, which reflects the depth of the long-standing Bahraini-Pakistani relations.
The Shura Council stressed that the meetings with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, prove the success of Pakistan’s Senate Chairman’s visit to the kingdom.
The statement also stressed that the success of the Pakistani official’s meetings with the Deputy Prime Minister, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, National Guard Commander, General HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, and Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, affirm the two countries’ deep-rooted ties, as well as their joint stances in support of Arab and Islamic nations.
The statement also lauded the talks held between the Shura Council Chairman and his Pakistani Senate counterpart, in which both sides expressed the two countries’ great resolve to achieve more cooperation and coordination across various fields.
