Shura chairman lauds Bahrain's Police efforts

 Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, on the centenary of the police in Bahrain.


Al Saleh stressed that the sacrifices of Bahrain’s Police have maintained the Kingdom’s security and stability, pointing out that Bahrain’s Police has contributed to the comprehensive development under the leadership of His Majesty the King.


He praised HM King's keenness over the importance of continuing to abide the law to achieve national stability and security, and HM’s order to create the Police Royal Medal and the Medallion of Distinction for Security Services, stressing that these two medals will motivate the security men.


Al Saleh commended the efforts exerted by Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and all affiliates of the Ministry, in order to maintain Bahrain's security.


He pointed out that the ministry has played a leading role in spreading and promoting the values of loyalty, belonging and citizenship, protecting society from the dangers of terrorism and extremism, and attempts to destabilize and violate regulations and laws.


Shura chairman expressed his pride in the achievements of the Bahrain’s Police since its establishment in 1919 by HH the late Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s former ruler.
