Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, has stressed the importance of the role played by NGOs in taking care of retirees’ affairs, in recognition of their dedication in the service of the nation.
He lauded the social initiatives launched by NGOs to benefit from the retirees’ experience, and to encourage them to continue serving the nation and their society.
Al-Saleh was speaking as he received here today a delegation of the board of directors of the Al-Hekma Retirees Society, led by Deputy Chairman, Dr. Saeed Al Sammak.
He valued highly the efforts exerted by the Al-Hekma Retirees Society, affirming the Shura Council’s keenness to ensure that the retirees’ rights and gains are preserved to achieve national interests.
He praised the varied programmes and projects launched by the Al-Hekma Retirees Society for its affiliates to invest in their accumulated expertise and skills.
Al-Hekma Retirees Society’s board members expressed thanks and appreciation to the Shura Chairman for his constant keenness to meet them and follow up on their achievements.
