Deep-rooted Bahrain-U.S relations praised

Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, has stressed that the solid friendly relations between Bahrain and the U.S.A have progressed and flourished thanks to the wisdom of their leaders, expressing pride in the current level of cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

 Al-Saleh was speaking while receiving here today the U.S Ambassador to Bahrain, Justin Hicks Siberell, with whom he discussed issues of mutual interest.

 The Shura Council chairman pointed out that the deep-rooted Bahraini-U.S relations have yielded many bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding in the economic, trade and educational fields, affirming that such relations are a distinguished example of Bahrain’s openness to developed countries, and keenness to extend bridges of cooperation and coordination with them in order to enhance its progress and prosperity.

 Al-Saleh lauded the U.S stances in support of Bahrain’s sovereignty and stability, expressing hope that cooperation between the two friendly countries will be bolstered further.
