Shura Council Chairman H.E. Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh today hailed the keynote speech of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa marking the last ten days of the Holy month of Ramadan.
He hailed HM King Hamad’s message of compassion, tolerance, unity and solidarity as well as his call to preserve civic peace, social security and commitment to Islamic Sharia precepts.
H.E. Saleh paid tribute to HM the King, lauding his keenness on addressing national issues, understanding of people’s problems and drive to improve their conditions, beyond any discrimination or exclusion and as stipulated in the law and the principle of social justice.
He also stressed HM King Hamad’s participation in the extraordinary Islamic Solidarity Conference in Mecca, describing the summit as an opportunity to reach decisions towards cementing the unity of the Islamic nations,
The Shura Council Speaker rallied behind HM King Hamad’s call on the international community to stop the bloodshed in Syria and warning against the detrimental internal, regional and international repercussions of the Syrian crisis.
