The Shura Council’s delegation, including the Second Deputy Chairwoman Dr. Bahiya Al-Jishi as Head and Dr. Aysha Salim Mubarak as member, yesterday took part in the closing session of the 23rd Crans Montana Forum held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from June 28th to July 1 under the theme of “Dealing with a Changing World.”

Members of the delegation expressed satisfaction at the positive results of the forum and hailed the final session’s recommendations focusing on energy policies, gender equality in all fields and preparation of new leaders.

They also pointed out to the forum’s Chairman and participants’ praise of the successful march of the Bahraini women in light of the commendable efforts exerted by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, to upgrade Bahraini women and empower them.
