Parliamentary and Media Relations Director at the Shura Council Dr. Fawziya Yusif Al Jeeb today lauded the Culture and Information Ministry's programmes and ambitious plans aiming to upgrade media and press in the kingdom, lauding the outstanding efforts exerted by the Culture and Information Minister Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa in this regard.

This came as the Parliamentary and Media Relations' delegation visited today the Bahrain News Agency (BNA) premises where they had a meeting with BNA Acting Director Jehad Salman Al Jowder.

During the meeting, Dr. Fawzeya conveyed the Shura Council Chairman H.E. Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh's thanks and appreciation to Shaikha Mai for her cooperation with the council, praising, at the same time, the efforts being made by BNA employees in the service of the kingdom and its wise leadership. The two sides also discussed ways of consolidating and enhancing the on-going cooperation and coordination between BNA and the Shura Council.

In the end of the meeting, Dr. Fawzeya presented Jehad Al Jowder with a memento in recognition for BNA's constant cooperation with the Shura Council.
