The general organization for youth and sports affirms it’s willingness to support the youth with necessary legislations

His Excellency Mr. Khalil Ebrahim Al Thwadi, head of youth affairs committee at Shura council has praised the significant goal of boys in executing youth programs and activities, which polish and serve Bahraini’s by allowing them to participate in order to layout the guidelines for the Kingdoms future and to encourage the ambitions to develop their plans and ideas in various fields for their own goods.

His Excellency Mr. Al Thawadi reiterated today (Tuesday) during his meeting with Mr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, General director of youth affairs at the general organization for youth and sports  whereby he said that youth affairs committee is prepared to provide all kind of legislative support to assist the kingdoms youth through opening up cooperation channel between Shura Council, supreme council for youth and sports and the general organization for youth and sports weather its related to legislations or organizing youth programs and activities. 

In turn, Mr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar thanked the Shura council for its great concern pertaining to youth category and to study programs which meet their needs and also to seek for necessary legislations which are beneficial to this category, hoping to achieve cooperation between the general organization for youth and sports and the Shura council for the youth’s sake.

It’s imperative to point out that youth’s affair committee is one of the permanent committees which had Shura's blessings during the second convening period – third legislative term approved to form a permanent qualitative committee within shura council named as youth affairs committee specializes in studying and reviewing and adequacy of the ongoing legislation relevant to youth factor, the study referred to the Committee of draft laws and law proposals and all issues related to youth and report to the Council, In addition to providing opinion to the other competent committees in relation to youth issues.
