Shura Council Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee's Chairman Dr Salah Ali yesterday received the US Assistant Secretary of State for Near eastern Affairs and discussed bilateral co-operation.

He stressed the importance of promoting dialogue and co-operation between all parties and pointed out the need to deal positively with efforts aimed at achieving stability in Bahrain.
