HRH the Premier yesterday said citizens' patriotism and keenness to protect national achievements showed their determination to overcome the crisis.

This came as he received an allegiance pledge from the Shura Council.

“The honourable stance was the bulwark which protected the nation and instilled confidence in the people to confront dangers,” he said as he received Shura Council's Chairman H.E. Ali Saleh Al Saleh and other officials.

He said Bahrain will always remain the land of unity and any attempts to push it towards sectarian divide will fail. He urged to instil in children loyalty to their homeland to preserve the distinguished Bahraini model of co-existence.

“Loyalty to the nation and leadership is an inherited trait of Bahrainis. For this reason, the Bahraini social texture is impenetrable,” he said.
