MANAMA: National Dialogue without preconditions is vital to get Bahrain back on track, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, stressed yesterday.
There have been calls in some quarters for certain conditions to be met before talks take place.
However, HRH the Crown Prince said a dialogue without conditions was vital “in fostering unity and bringing Bahrain back on the fast track”.
“Every solution must be reached by consensus and without preconditions,” he said as he received Shura Council Chairman H.E. Ali Saleh Al Saleh and an accompanying delegation, which presented HRH the Crown Prince with a Pledge of Allegiance signed by Shura Council members.
During the meeting at Riffa Palace, Prince Salman said unrest occurred in Bahrain as the country was seeing massive progress in all fields thanks to reforms initiated by His Majesty King Hamad.
Also present at the meeting was Crown Prince’s Court head Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa.
