His Excellency the Chairman of the Shura Council Ali Bin Saleh Al Saleh, valued the efforts exerted by the private sector in the area of environment conservation, and spreading the awareness of the importance of combating pollution, and its negative effects on public life, particularly in light of the high pollution levels, and the holding of several conferences on global warming and its expected impact on the countries of the world.

His Excellency the Chairman of the Shura Council mentioned - during his meeting with the Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Green Capital Project and the General Coordinator Mr. Abdul Hakim Al Shemmari where H.E. received a booklet on the achievements of the project, that addressing this task by the private sector companies and institutions, and carrying out efforts in support of the Government is welcomed and praised by everyone, stressing that such projects are evidence of the existence of responsibility, and exerting serious efforts for social integration is what distinguishes the Bahraini society from others.

For his part, Mr. Abdul Hakim Al Shemmari praised the Shura Council support for the green capital project, and appreciated the efforts exerted by His Excellency the Chairman of the Shura Council, to preserve the environment and raise awareness of the importance of working to reduce the impact of pollution.
