Librarians and staff of the Parliamentary library are responsible in solidarity with each other for custody of the library and the library materials lost or damaged by negligence or misuse.

The on duty head of the Joint Supreme Committee forms a working team chaired by the President of the Library and composed of the parliamentary library staff, and staff of the directorate of the administrative and financial affairs in both councils, in order to conduct an inventory in whole or in part during the parliamentary recess, so as to inventory the contents of the library once each calendar year.
