Responsibilities of the Media Section

• Participation in reporting the news and activities of the Council (the Chairman, meetings of the Council, Committees, Secretariat) and deliver to the local media.

• Supervise the preparation of meetings and press conferences of the Chairman of the Council, Committees, Secretary-General, and encourage and invite the media to conduct journalism investigation.

• Facilitate the tasks of media correspondents, and the local, Arab and foreign press in following up activities and meetings of the Council, through organizing the accreditation of journalists, reporters and other media correspondents.

• Encourage journalists to write news reports about legislature and strategy (laws and draft laws).

• Setup daily (media file) from various local newspapers, by gathering news and all that related to the Shura Council.

• Coordination for holding press conferences and meetings.

• Coordinating and organizing committees meetings with the civil society.

• Publish weekly interviews for the members of the council, and encourage the reporters to conduct investigations with the chairmen of the committees and publish in the local press.

• Write analysis and interviews about the work of the Council, in agreement with the Secretariat.

• Propose designs and do art direction for all publications and brochures of the Council.
