• Implementation of outstanding projects under the umbrella of the information security, to confirm and to reflect practically the theme of commitment, and maintain to provide advanced technological services.
• Support decisions through the adoption of accurate information, which is classified using the classification systems by smart means.
• Create a working culture and internal communication and cooperation between relevant departments to make many changes towards better working environment.
• Creating a successful relationship between the directorate and the various sectors such as organs of the Council, formal and governmental organizations, NGOs, private sector, political associations, trade unions and the press, legislatures, organizations and friendly unions.
• Automation of procedures and achieving the approach of one source of information.
• Achieving total quality in providing the latest information technology systems and maintain them.
• Support the march of knowledge and development for the Council.
• Achieve a source of expertise and successful experiences in the field of new technologies and accumulations of knowledge.
• Build a strong entity of the competencies and skills in the Directorate of information technology.
• Using modern tools for training human resources technically for legislative sphere and parliament.
The Assistant Secretary-General for human resources, finance and information is supervising directly the directorate, and be accountable before the Secretary-General on the performance of its functions and specialty through the following divisions: Information Systems, Information Network and Multimedia.
