On the occasion of the inauguration of the Council's New Electronic Site

On the occasion of the inauguration of the Shura Council's New Electronic Site with its new shape, I can only commend on this step presenting my profound thanks and appreciation to the Executive Team of the General Secretariat who contributed hard to  launch this site in a commanding and creditable image, which through it we aim to improve legislative performance in terms of service delivery and performance efficiency, accuracy, reducing the time needed for obtaining information, and access to the highest quality in addition to the integration and coordination with various government agencies, and the overall objective is to achieve better performance of the Council in an efficient and transparent way, and to change the stereotypical image prevailing in minds of many people.

The Web site in its new shape is achieving the national goals and bring about the transformation and the desired change of the reform and development, under the reforms program of His Majesty the King, and his wise government under the chairmanship of His Highness the Prime Minister, and the support of His Highness the Crown Prince.

The Shura Council is devoting its efforts to provide best services to members of the Council, the civil society organizations and visitors of the site. Through a commitment to a methodology that ensures following a systematic focus on the recipient, where through the site there are introduction to the Council's programmes and projects of priority, and the presentation of committees' reports, the participation of the Council in international conventions, so as to facilitate follow-up implementation and monitoring of performance and identifying the responsibilities of all concerned authorities.
