Item (3):
Incoming Letters
• The Council was notified about the messages of His Royal Highness The Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, regarding the government's desire to continue to consider the following draft laws, in accordance to the provisions of Article (101) of the Decree by Law No. (55) for 2002, concerning the Rules of Procedure of the Shura Council , amended by Law No. (9) for 2006:
- Draft Law on the issuance of reform and rehabilitation institutions law, associated with the Royal Decree No. (93) for 2007, and the Bill regarding organization of penal institutions, referred previously to the Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security Committee.
- Draft law amending some provisions of Decree by Law No. (21) of 1976 regulating the profession of brokerage in real estate, associated with the Royal Decree No. (59) for 2007, referred previously to the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee.
- Draft law amending some provisions of the trademarks and protection of copyright and related rights laws, associated with the Royal Decree No. (92) for 2009, notifying the Council of referral to the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee.
- Draft law ratifying to join the Convention regarding Early Notification of a Nuclear Accident, associated with the Royal Decree No. (13) for 2010, notifying the Council of referral to the Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security Committee.
• The Council was notified regarding referring a bill to amend some provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure issued via Decree by Law No. (46) for 2002, adding an article (no. 21) bis and (21) ter, submitted by Hon. member Rabab A-Nabi Al-Arrayed, and Hon. member Dalal Jassim Al Zayed; referred to Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security Committee.
• The Council was notified of referral of a bill to amend some provisions of Decree by Law No. (4) for 2001 concerning Prohibition and Combating Money Laundering as amended by Law No. (54) for 2006, submitted by Hon. member Rabab A-Nabi Al-Arrayed, and Hon. member Dalal Jassim Al Zayed; referred to Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security Committee.
• Approving the request of the withdrawal of Hon. member Lulwa Saleh Al-Awadi from the membership of the Women and Child Affairs Committee, and the nomination of a substitute Hon. member Rabab A-Nabi Al-Arrayed.

Continue discussion of the report of Women and Child Affairs Committee concerning the draft law issuing the Child Act (prepared in light of bill proposals submitted by the Council of Representatives)
- Approving the following item as amended by the Government (naming chapter 3, naming first section of chapter 3, 27, 22:34 after renumbering).
- Approving the following subsequent items as amended by the Committee (20-26 after renumbering, 21:28 after renumbering).
- Approving the following subsequent items as amended during the session (new item 23, 24:35 after renumbering).
- Approving to delete the following items (29, 30, 31, 32, 33).
