It is the highest executive authority of the Council and reports to the chairman of the Council. The Council Office comprises of the chairman, his two deputies in addition to the committees chairmen mentioned under articles First, Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth of the first paragraph of Article 24 of the Regulation of the Shura Council, immediately upon their election. The Council Office represents the management of the Shura Council and undertakes the tasks of preparing the agendas for the meetings of the Council. It reviews the annual budget proposal of the Council and its final accounts draft. It also follows-up the activities of the Council’s committees and their reports and assists these committees in laying down the rules governing their works and co-coordinating the various types of their activities.
