This committee is consisting from (7) seven members, and specializes in studying the following issues:

1. Study and review the adequacy of existing legislation related to women and child.

2. Examine all issues referred to the Committee of draft laws and motions and all matters relating to women and child and forward their reports to the Council.

3. Provide opinion to the other specialized committees in relation with the women and child affairs.

4. Follow up the recommendations and resolutions referred by the inter-parliamentary group and issued by the relevant parliamentary conferences on women and child.
