On the occasion of launching the new website we would like to praise Allah the Almighty for all His abundant blessings. “He Who taught the use of the pen, taught man that which he know not” (Surat Al-Alaq, 96:4-5)

Under the guidance of His Royal Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, we are proud to launch this website to enable the citizens of this beloved country to remain connected and updated with the activates and decision of the Shura Council.

Our goal is to harness the power of technology to facilitate the way in which individuals, government organizations and various non-government bodies interact with the Shura Council. In the spirit of full transparency, we are exerting every effort to keep pace with both technological development and e-government.

We belive that the creation of this interactive medium enhances communication between the legislative body and the citizens of Bahrain. This website will directly highlight the achievements of the Shura Concil and the resolutions passed and issued by it with respect to development plans for our Kingdom. It will also act as an aid for the advancement of the Council’s activities.

In conclusion, we would like to emphasize that the internet has become a vital tool in the modern world, setting an international standard through which the development level of countries and organizations is measured. We assure you that we spare no effort to maximize our use of this tool as it pertains to the activities of the Shura council.
